Merry Christmas.
Christmas every day. I’d love it. OK, so we’re not talking about Christmas today. What we’re talking about is leadership habits that you should build now for long term success. So even if you’re just starting your business and actually I would say especially if you’re just.

Jores Minasvand

This was everything.

Starting your business. There are a few things that you can do now, habits that you can build right now that will set you up for success in business and in life. And I am starting with the following habits. So habit number.
Habits that have nothing to do with business, actually.
The first one is habit to nurture your mind. So something to to learn like it can be one of the things that you know, if you’re a regular listener to this podcast, you know that I love reading books. I highly, highly recommend reading books.
So one thing is a habit that helps you nurture your mind, update your your software in a way, keep on learning, keep on getting better, keep on your mindset elevated. So this is 1 habit.
The second habit is related to your health. So something doing every single day, doing something for your health, some kind of movement, some kind of exercise, something that helps you physical, like your physical health, right? And then the the third part is something for your soul.
Something for your spirit, something that elevates you. So I would say start. I would start actually with these three habits that if you if you do something every single day, even if it’s more.
That helps you with your mind. It helps you with your body and it helps you with your soul. You will see how your life and how your business will elevate very, very quickly.
And um, I actually want to hear your thoughts, Joris, because I see you want to tell me.

Jores Minasvand
3:28
No, it’s very interesting that you brought these three habits because everyone who saw the the, the title of the the podcast, they would think, oh right, oh, so it’s productivity, financial, whatever and then sell, sell, sell or market, market, market.
But it’s very interesting that and we’ve talked about so many things, how to start your business, how to what tools to use, what CRM to use and how to sell, how to set up your outreach and automate.
So not with that, but we never ever focus on us. We are the core of the business. We are when we are, if we are out, the business is done. Other people, our families, everyone who financially and and professionally relies on us, they’re out.
So we don’t, we don’t focus on this. And I love how you you tend to focus. And then you’re right when you are energetic, when you eat the right way, when you exercise every day, when you’re, you know, you, you do cortisol detox, you sleep well, you wake up well, you wake up very energized.
Your you attend to your business, build your business out and and this contributes more to your autumn line than than a tool or a tech piece of technology. I’m going back to what we read about in the in the book The monk who sold his Ferrari.
Where the the monk was telling the the the investor investor guy that you you need to make time for yourself, you need to make time for your health. And he said, well I don’t have time. And he brought up the example of the the the guy. He said OK, what car do you drive? He said Ferrari. I said imagine you.
Drive a Ferrari and then all of a sudden the gaslight comes on and it’s yellow and then you say, Oh no, no, I don’t have time to gas up. I’ll keep driving. Eventually it will turn red and eventually the car will stop. And the same thing goes to your health if you don’t.
Turn to yourself and I love how you started with those habits and I think everything else can be outsourced. Everything can be automated except for these. These have to become part of your lifestyle, part of your both personal and business lifestyle and they need to become automatic. They need to.
Because they cannot be secondary when you because if they are secondary is every day there’s a reason to put those off especially like exercise or eating well or or whatever pertains to your health. Don’t do that. I I love what how how you started this. I’ll I’ll let you.
Go on. Let’s hear more about it.

This is one thing that we also do in our program, especially Launch 360, where we help aspiring entrepreneurs start their businesses, aspiring business owners start a business and we talk about it every time in in every session and.
Every lesson covers it that what you were saying, how important you are as the business owner, as the one who is starting the business, the one who is building the business. And that’s why I started with these habits and these are habits that we actually track with our with our clients.
And it’s really, really important because ultimately your business will never outgrow you. Your business will only grow to the level you are as the business owner and as the leader of that business. And that’s why I started with these ones and these are really, really important and actually if you think about it.
These habits, they they are leadership habits that set you up for success. Whether you’re a business owner or not, they set you up for success for life. Like even if you don’t have a business, if you even if you work somewhere and for someone, these habits set you up for success.
And then I do wanted to add a couple more. So like when we’re talking about habits to build now that will serve you well into the future in the world we’re living right now, one of the biggest, biggest, biggest.
Assets that we have is focus. So being able to focus and I know we’ve talked about this before. We’ve mentioned the how focused you get sometimes, Joris, and how one time I came, I left something in front of you and you didn’t even realize I was there like you were so focused on what you were doing.
So I would add in. So the three that I mentioned, I mentioned they they are more towards you growing as a person and now when it comes to the business, I would add have the habit of every day.
Doing a focused session of work, you can start with whatever works for you. I highly encourage you to try and have a 90 minute, like an hour and a half focused session for work where you can do something for your business as the owner, as the leader of the business, do strategic.
Work, do planning, do whatever work, creative work you need to do. Build this habit and again this will serve you for years and years to come for like really set you up for long term success.
And the.
I actually, I know like there are so many things you can you can at least say there’s a laundry list of habits and a laundry list of things as a leader, as the business owner, you can do to improve yourself.
But what what I would add is it’s a little bit as a habit. It’s a little bit hard to to define it specifically and the the last one I want to mention is.
Learn to lead by example. So ultimately, like when you say something that it will be done, do it. Like if you say something will be done by Thursday, do it by Thursday. Like even again, even if you’re just starting the business, even if it’s just you and no one is capable.
Accountable. You need to keep yourself accountable. Learn to lead by example. Be the example you want to see in others and if you want your business to reflect certain values, certain.
Characteristics exhibit them as the business owner. And why I’m saying that this as a habit is a little bit trickier because it’s not something that all every morning from from, you know, 6:00 AM to 6:30 AM, I’ll sit down and do this. It’s something that you you kind of develop. It’s something.
That you need to pay attention constantly and and really show up and be the example, like learning to be the example to to follow your values and principles and show up in your best way every single day, every single moment. And that’s why like it’s a bit harder like the other.
The other habits, they’re more like they’re more like the the.
Standard habits, right? Where you can say, oh, this is when I’ll be exercising, this is when I’ll be doing this kind of thing and really develop it as a habit. This one is a little bit trickier, but highly, highly recommend learn to lead by example. This is something that.
We’ll pay dividends for years and years to come. And again, this is not just for your business, life in general as well.

Jores Minasvand
11:29
And interesting you talk about lead by example and even in the first first couple of habits that you mentioned like pay attention to your health and pay attention to your mind and soul that also.

Anna Angelova
11:29
The.

Jores Minasvand
11:44
Is leading by example because the more you do that, the more your people will do that and your people will become healthy. And if you’re a health buff, if the leader is a health buff, everybody wants to be a health buff. So and the other thing I would add to these, even the first ones we talked about, we talked a lot about how to measure things and and track things.
And with KPIs, even for health and Wellness, there are KPIs that you can follow. So set those KPIs as part of your financial KPI or whatever KPIs there are for your business. Set those KPIs for your health and your Wellness as well.
And track them and be serious about them.

Anna Angelova
12:27
Oh, absolutely. And there are actually habit trackers and different ways you can do this. As I mentioned with the clients we work, we actually have a separate tracker that helps them do this like we provided and they love it. They they love that accountability and being able to.
Grow into that leader that they know they are, and it’s important. Building leadership habits is important. And again, your business will never outgrow you. Any part of your success, whether it’s business, whether it’s finances, whether it’s health even.
Not outgrow you. You need to become that person 1st. And those habits, they allow you to become that person, taking care of your mind, taking care of your health and taking care of your soul every single day. And some things, if you think about it, they some activities, they help with everything, for example.
Like yoga or meditation, like they they kind of help with a few things together. So again like start with the person in the mirror and let her let him shine the light. And this is how you do this like just.
We’re talking about 5 things for you to do. Something for your health, something for your mind, something for your soul.
A 90 minute focus session, working on the business like without any distractions, without thinking, checking, checking socials and things like this, and leading by example, showing up with your core values and principles in every situation. That’s it.
It’s that simple. And sometimes we forget that the simple things are the things that actually matter. And those principles, those first principles, they are the building blocks of everything in life.

Jores Minasvand
14:30
Very well, Selena. Thank you. Very nice session. Love it. Love it. Be healthy. Live a long time.

Anna Angelova
14:39
Thanks, Yuris. Yeah, I love leadership and talk about this and it starts with self-leadership. The whole thing starts with self-leadership. And again, as I mentioned, this is one of the things how how our programs are different with what we do working with our clients that it’s not just a matter of.
Let let us help you build your business. It’s like let us help you be the leader as first like be the leader and and then as the leader you build the business. And if you are curious, actually like we did mention we that we opened the doors for our community, the Visionary Founders Club.
And if you haven’t joined it yet, highly recommend the link is in the description of the episode. Join the Visionary Founders Club. It’s a place for business owners.
Aspiring business owners to get together, grow, learn and build visionary businesses, businesses that leave a legacy. And although it’s a small community for for now, it’s a very, very cool and and mighty community and there is actually power in.
In communities when they’re smaller because like you have more access to us, more direct access to us when you ask a question, we we are here for you. So take advantage because before we have too many people because we are working on a few things where we might.
Very, very soon be launching something, so stay tuned. But anyway, this is it for today. And what I would actually encourage you as an action item, choose one one of these habits that you are missing right now. Don’t do all five at the same time. Choose one and.
Start doing it. Even if you start with 5 minutes a day, choose one and let’s go. Let’s grow into that leader you can be.

Jores Minasvand
