The #1 Reason Behind Every World Crisis
If you follow the mainstream media and read or listen to the news, you have heard it all. The world is basically ending. From climate change to raging wars, we face multiple challenges and crises in the world today. What’s going on? And what can you do about it, if anything?
What’s causing all these crises?
Let’s start with the exploration of what’s causing all these crises. While the world might be safer and more educated than ever, according to the authors of “Factfulness“, we can’t deny that there are many challenges (or if you prefer, opportunities for improvement).
I won’t pretend I’m an expert on everything that’s going on. So, I will not dive into the many possible and probable reasons behind the current situation in the world. Yet, I want to share an opinion I fully agree with it. I heard it a few years ago by Darren Hardy.
What is this?
It’s that the world is actually facing only one crisis. And this one crisis is a crisis of lack of real leaders.
So, there you have it. While many small and big things contribute to the state of the world, we at Leficomp genuinely believe that the main reason behind every world crisis is the lack of real, anabolic leaders.
What can you do about it?

Great question, my fellow high-achiever and leader. We recommend the following steps:
- Choose your cause. And make it one. Don’t try to save the world. If you care about the climate, choose something that you want to focus on, such as protecting natural habitats, reducing our impact, or whatever else you want to fight for. If you are interested in politics, go with local, national, or global initiatives in this area. The key is to choose what you want to live for and which movement you want to lead.
- Focus on your one cause. And forget about everything else. Stop listening to or reading the news about everything else unless it affects you directly. Focus all your energy and resources on the one thing you want to lead.
- Step up and become the leader you are meant to be and want to be. You can start small. Or you can start big. An essential idea here is to start with your circle of control and influence and gradually expand it. You’ve got this, our fellow leader.
There you have it. These are three principles that you can follow if you decide to solve the leadership crisis we have.
